East Shore’s Annual Operating Fund Drive Events

Feb 22, 2017 | News

Now is an exciting time to be part of East Shore Unitarian Church. We are actively engaged in renewing our shared vision, and building a stronger community, reaching outside of our walls during these turbulent social political times to provide support and take action.  Meaningful worship, programming for youth and adults and ongoing pastoral care assure that our spirits continue to be renewed and inspired. As a result, visitors are flocking to our church and membership is growing!
We are poised for even deeper and broader success in making East Shore a beacon of spirituality, care and justice on the East Side, in Seattle and in the world.  YOU are essential to our success!

We invite all members of East Shore to renew their support of this wonderful organization by making a financial pledge. Your hardworking Operating Fund Drive team is busy planning and preparing some exciting activities for you. Make a note in your calendar of the following key dates:

Friday, February 24 – Pledge brochures will be sent out in the mail to all members, so that all those who prefer to pledge in the traditional way can do so

Sunday, March 5 – Pancake Breakfast. Launching our annual campaign, this ever-popular event is an opportunity to celebrate being a part of the East Shore Community, and enjoy delicious pancakes with all the toppings, both before and after the service. Bring your family, and make your pledge while you’re there!  Thanks to Anne Rittenhouse for organizing this event. RSVP Here.

Saturday, March 11 – Celebration Dinner.  Aren’t we lucky to be a part of East Shore?  Everyone is welcome to participate in this fun evening celebrating the best of East Shore, with music and a shared dinner.  We will also talk about East Shore’s achievements and what we hope to achieve in the future. Thanks to Janis Pock and the Emily Dickinson family for organizing this event. RSVP Here.

Sundays throughout March – we’ll be talking about the value that East Shore brings to people, and encouraging you to make your pledge by March 31st.
