‘Holding Onto Hope’ is the theme for our Second Annual Potluck Friendship Dinner, in our Sanctuary, Saturday, March 25, 5:30 pm, co-hosted by East Shore and MAPS (Muslim Association of Puget Sound) The current political climate calls on us to reaffirm our commitment to Standing on the Side of Love. Bring a main dish or salad to share and and get to know some of the wonderful members of our community who attend eastside mosques. Over dinner we will have ample time to engage in casual conversation and together share our experiences, feelings and hopes. During the evening program, East Shore is also hosting a Kids4Peace program for youth (4th grade and above). Kids4Peace is an interfaith youth movement which uses interfaith dialogue and education to enable youth to learn about issues such as religious intolerance, racism, poverty and homelessness. There will also be childcare for younger children.  Please register in advance to attend the dinner or to enroll your children in the Kids4Peace program. Register here!
