Building our Future Together

Now is an exciting time to be part of East Shore Unitarian Church. We are actively engaged in renewing our shared vision, and building a stronger community, reaching outside of our walls during these turbulent social political times to provide support and take action.  Meaningful worship, programming for youth and adults and ongoing pastoral care assure that our spirits continue to be renewed and inspired. As a result, visitors are flocking to our church and membership is growing!

We are poised for even deeper and broader success in making East Shore a beacon of spirituality, care and justice on the East Side, in Seattle and in the world.  YOU are essential to our success! Our many exciting accomplishments include:

  • Increasing attendance, membership, and youth participation in our Religious Education program.
  • Increasing strength, clarity and effectiveness in our governance structure and financial oversight.
  • Powerful and diverse worship services with many guest speakers, member presentations, and associated post-service community discussions.
  • Increasing support for all key social and environmental programs such as Black Lives Matter, Climate Action, Congregations for the Homeless, Women helping Women, and many others.
  • Outstanding cultural contributions by and for members this year, including six successful East Shore Live shows, outstanding orchestral and choir plus regular art shows in the gallery.
  • A more appealing, interactive, and easy to use website and electronic services

Even more exciting is the future we are building together – a newly focused mission and vision, more connection and involvement, and deeper integrity for our church.
These things come to fruition with the significant contributions we all make. A strong commitment to providing financial support at this time assures us that East Shore will attract the best possible new minister in the future.  We thank you for your commitment to the future of this vibrant community.
