Have you been looking for a way to become involved in the church and a way to contribute to our successful future? Please consider becoming part of the next phase of the Holly House Task force. We are currently asking interested members to fill out an application for this important role in the next phase of Holly House.
1. Task Force Purpose
The Congregation voted at our annual meeting in June to not continue with Holly House exactly as it is. It is now time to form a task force and put forward real options, with real numbers for the board and congregation to consider in the next phase of development.
2. Task Force Time Commitment
We will need a commitment of monthly meetings for 9-12 months, with some work completed in between meetings
3. Seeking 3-5 Members with one of more of the following skill sets:
- Commercial real estate
- Project Management
- Affordable Housing Knowledge
- Contract analysis
- Good Communicators
- Anyone willing to learn about the development process
Through a formal Request for Proposals process, the Task Force will present to the Board and Congregation at least three options that include, but not limited to: sale with restrictions, sale without restrictions, ground lease. These options will contain accurate dollar amounts and with the proper cost/ benefit analysis. The Task Force will also engage the Congregation for input in developing a decision matrix to be used as one tool in weighing the various options.
