Our Hearts are in Las Vegas

Oct 3, 2017 | News

East Shore is bright with the flames of sorrow as we honor the 59 souls lost in Las Vegas Nevada and over 500 injured. We join our hearts and our hands with all those who mourn the lives of vitality and love lost and the lives of everyone injured, connected to or related to those dead and injured. We are all touched by this massacre as our hearts and minds grapple with confusion, fear, outrage and grief.

As we learn more about the lives and stories of those killed or injured, our mission is to tend to those suffer, and comfort one another as we move through this grief into understanding. In the name of hope, healing and courage, we are called to prevent such atrocities in the future. With the hope of learning and understanding, the healing of wounds suffered and the courage to make changes, we can confront the cultural and legislative acceptance of gun violence that inspires these atrocities.
