We chose this theme to represent our anticipation of a new, exciting church year – Moving Forward Together with Rev. Steve to strengthen and revitalize our wonderful East Shore home. The Auction is a coming together of many talents – the donors, the many volunteers (greeters, cooks, servers, recorders, the Auction committee members, the emcee, and clean-up crew and more), the staff and our peerless auctioneer!

All this work and planning will culminate on Saturday, November 10th, in a fabulous party AND fund raiser for East Shore! At 5:30 p.m. the Silent Auction starts in Spring Hall. More than 100 items are on offer. Try classes in stone carving, yoga, or Russian! Be tempted by marvelous food choices such as homemade jams, sticky buns, a tea party basket, cheesecake, carrot cake, an Indian dinner for six (delivered!).  Don’t miss the tickets to Village Theater or Seattle Rep. Dinners, hikes, wine tasting, game nights – there is something for everyone! How about a visit to a wallaby farm? (That’s just one of the family friendly items available.) Discover what Pie and Beer Day means. Find out more about Ruth’s Boxing Workout. Admire Catherine’s gorgeous mosaic chalice and the sign-up for a mosaic class!

At 7:30 p.m., the Sanctuary will open for the Live Auction and a Tapas Dinner. Vacation homes, exotic dinners, Seahawks tickets (GO HAWKS!), Tom’s always popular geology trip will all be ready for you to bid on. We’re serving beverages at both auctions and childcare is free!

Besides the many social items, you will have an opportunity to bid on a Fund-a-Need item to benefit East Shore members and renters. The Facilities Team is working on a Collaboration Space in in the Education Building. This technology enhanced space would allow high quality video and audio conferencing capabilities and would include an interactive “smart”screen. This will be used more and more as traffic gets worse and meetings are harder to get to! Imagine being able to attend a meeting from your home or office to stay engaged and conduct valuable input to your group!

This event is great for ALL members and friends! It’s an opportunity to spend an evening together, and bid on activities with other members that will build lifelong friendships.

New this year, look at the catalog for our new “Family Friendly” logo which helps families find activities perfect for all ages!

This night is also the perfect opportunity for the youth to see how we come together and support our church. The High School youth group helps as servers, and uses the tips collected to support their programming for the year.

Please register for the Auction by November 4th at esuc.org or by returning the card to the church. You have the option to register online and pay with credit card to simplify check-in on auction night so you can get RIGHT to bidding! Numbers are helpful when ordering food and wine. We don’t want to run out of either!

Also, new this year, at check-in grab your bid number bracelet so you can bid at the silent auction without fumbling with papers.

We hope to see you all the Auction!
