Auction Listening Circle

Join us on Sunday Feb 16th12:30pm, Spring Hall.

The East Shore Auction is our annual fundraiser, held in November each year.  This year, we are holding a listening circle for the auction, to gather perspectives from as wide a range of members and friends as possible, and to give us plenty of time to make any changes needed.

The Auction raises about $40,000 for the church, but that’s not its only purpose. It also helps us build community by offering lots of events and opportunities to connect and participate socially with one another throughout the year. Some members love our annual auction and participate as fully as they can. Some have never participated and wonder what it’s all about. And others may feel excluded or unwelcome in some way.  We want to hear from you all!

Questions we’ll be asking include:

  • What does the auction mean to you, right now?
  • What are some barriers to participating that you’ve observed or experienced?
  • What would your ideal auction look like?

We want to ensure that the auction is accessible to all, and that it is meeting everyone’s needs and expectations. Please plan to join us, or if you can’t attend, share your thoughts beforehand via email ([email protected] ) so that we can share them with others (anonymously if you prefer).

Thanks for helping us to make the auction the best it can be.
