Auction 2022: Embracing the Future

East Shore holds an auction every year in November to build community and raise money for the church. This year we are Embracing the Future with both an online and a live event! We will still be managing the auction online, including the catalog and the bidding, so that everyone can participate, but we are also planning a free live event in the church.
How to Attend
Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t want to bid on anything. Be sure to keep that evening free! A parallel zoom event will be held online for those who are unable or uncomfortable to be there in person.

To participate in the live event remotely, here’s the Zoom Link you will need.
Register on Auctria from any computer, tablet or phone, to bid in the auction anytime Oct 29-Nov 5. You will receive a confirmation email with an access code that can be used to easily register yourself on other devices.
Once registered, you will be able to “star” the items you’re interested in, and bid wherever you are throughout the week.

To use your phone or tablet to bid during the live event in the Sanctuary, go to your App Store and download the Auctria app. Enter Auctria.events/embracingthefuture as the site name, and sign in before you come to church, so that your app is ready to use. If you’ve already registered on a different device, look for your confirmation email and use the Access code to sign in more easily.
If you have a data plan, please use that in the Sanctuary, don’t rely on the church Wifi or it will get overloaded. Technical support will be available at church to help you with this if needed.
To volunteer to help set up the Sanctuary, to provide technical support to those who need it, and to help clean up, reset the Sanctuary and wash dishes. This is a great way for people to participate who don’t want to bid much! Signup Genius Link
Event Details
Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
