Rueben George, as Manager of the Tsleil-Waututh Sacred Trust Initiative, is working to stop this project from progressing. He will discuss the sacred struggle which underpins the drive of Canada’s First Nations people to keep fighting for their rights and the environment.

Rueben George is a leading member of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation in British Columbia. After serving his nation as Director of Community Development, he has shifted his focus to protecting Burrard Inlet, traditional Tsleil-Waututh territory from the Trans Mountain Pipeline and Tanker Expansion Project (TMX).
