Join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate in a whole new way!
At 4:00 pm, we will offer a drive-thru holiday event with a winter wonderland of lights and displays for enjoyment by all ages! This is the perfect option for members and families wishing to experience Christmas cheer, music, and light a candle from East Shore’s beautiful chalice all while staying safe in your cars. We will have a winter wonderland of lights and displays for enjoyment by all ages. Enter in the lower parking lot from 128th Ave. and tune into KESUC 103.1 to enjoy holiday poetry and winter-time sing-along hits!
You’ll be ushered through the lots by volunteers with lights. In the upper parking lot, cars will stop at two stations. At the first stop, you will receive a candle, lit from the chalice and handed out by Rev. Steve Furrer and Eric Lane Barnes. At the second stop, you’ll get a Christmas goodie bag filled with special treats including cookies from Pinckney Cookie Café (which offers a vegan/gluten free cookie) and activities to bring you some holiday cheer, handed out by amanda alice uluhan and Nicole Duff.
The drive thru event will start at 4:00 and will run through 6:00 p.m., with the last car being admitted at 5:40 p.m. We are recommending you allow 20 minutes for the duration of the procession. Please be aware everyone will need to remain in their cars at all times, and we ask that you wear a mask – this special procession is designed for everyone’s health and safety in mind.
