Community Iftar Dinner

Join us for a Community Iftar Dinner hosted by our Director of Religious Education, Amanda Uluhan, and her family. Enjoy children’s activities, a short program on why and how Muslims fast, and a shared meal. A prayer room will be available.

About Ramadan: Ramadan is the 9th month of Islamic calendar. The Holy book, the Quran was sent down from heaven as guidance during this month. The day starts with eating of the suhoor. Suhoor is the meal eaten before the sun rises. At sunset we have another meal called Iftar.
Event Details
Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
