An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until Tuesday, September 19
The United States of America is founded on a group of rich and diverse ideas that are sometimes in tension with one another. If there is a place one can go to locate the contents of those ideas, it is the U.S. constitution and the intricate body of laws, traditions, and norms that constitute our constitutional heritage. This course is a history of those ideas – a history of the U.S. Constitution, constitutional law, constitutional ideas, and constitutional conflicts from the nation’s founding to the present day. In short, it’s a course in intellectual history entwined with political, social, cultural, and military history.
Meetings are online (over Zoom) Tuesday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. beginning July 11.
