We live in troubled times.  We are currently experiencing an unusually keen sense of isolation.  We search for ways to relieve our anxiety and bring us compassion.

During our brief workshop, we will explore “The Enneagram”, a system developed over a thousand years ago in the Middle East to gain spiritual connection by knowing oneself.  The Enneagram provides access to the wholeness of who we are – not who we take ourselves to be, but who we truly are.  By exploring the structure of our personality, we can discover what matters uniquely to us individually, what we rely on for refuge and comfort, and what will bring solace and ease during troubling times. Using it to understand ourselves is a gateway to more resilience, freedom and inner peace.

JOIN US as we investigate our personal characteristics and identify “like-numbered” friends through presentation and conversation Saturday morning.

The retreat will also include a goody bag (to be picked up at ESUC or mailed at your cost)!

More Information

Our presenter, N’Shama Sterling, holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Gonzaga University and a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle, City University. In addition, she completed The Art of Spiritual Guidance program with Thomas Atum O’Kane, focusing on the unfolding of spiritual dimensions as part of the journey of the soul.  She is now retired from The Boeing Company where she worked in organizational development.

The enneagram has had a profound impact on my life, understanding my personal history and adding to my compassion for others who operate, think, feel and respond vastly differently to life than I do!

Lassie Jordan

I first met N’Shama  when we both worked at Boeing. She is a delightful woman with great wisdom, knowledge and sensitivity. She has deep understanding of systemic thinking and years of experience working with professional groups. Even those not experienced with the Enneagram would benefit from experiencing N’Shama’s workshop.

The enneagram has been a most useful tool in my marriage.  It’s led us to recognize and accept our inherent differences thereby strengthening our relationship. Our ‘types’ are often at the core of our serious conversations and our humor!
