Journeying Towards Racial Justice
Thursday, April 14 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
East Shore is committed to anti-racism. What does this mean? How does this impact you? Are you feeling confused and uncertain about how to move forward? We’re here to tell you you’re not alone! There is no one, “right” road. You will find the path that’s right for you. But we all need people to support and guide us on tough journeys. So we are hoping to create a courageous space where we can share hard things around racial justice. We want people to be able to speak their truths and feel heard and respected as we build trust and connection. If this interests you, please join us to share in this communal exploration about one of the most difficult and important topics facing our world today. We can change the time and day to meet people’s needs. This is our space to plan and share. Thank you for having the courage to join this journey.
how to attend
If you can’t join on Thursday the 14th, let us know when works for you, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Sponsored by the 8th Principle Team.
Facilitated by Marcy Langrock and Louise Wilkinson
Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
