Meaningful Movies Bellevue: Fight Like Hell

Join Meaningful Movies Bellevue for a screening of the 2023 film, Fight Like Hell, from Bullfrog Films. Unable to save her husband or her children from yellow fever, Mary Jones became a prominent union organizer, community organizer, and activist who dedicated her life to fight for working families everywhere. The robber barons called her “the most dangerous woman in America,” but workers called her “Mother Jones.” Drawn from her autobiography, letters, speeches, and interviews, Fight Like Hell is as bold and forceful as Mother Jones herself. With the just and democratic society she fought for now under attack, it’s time to bring Mother Jones’ vision for America back to life. Fight Like Hell was directed by Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Ian Cheney. Please join us immediately after the film for an inspiring Q&A session.
