The Salish Sea Trilogy is a three-part documentary series directed and produced by Jessica Plumb that explores the threats facing Southern Resident killer whales and Chinook salmon in the Pacific Northwest.
- Call of the Orcas: Follows scientist Ken Balcomb and his 50 years of survey work, which identified orcas as individuals and helped end the capture of calves for aquariums.
- Managed to Extinction: Pairs orca researcher Dr. Deborah Giles—who uses a scent-detection dog to track whale scat—with Lummi Nation leader Jay Julius to connect salmon recovery with indigenous stewardship.
- Shared Waters, Shared Crisis: Examines the challenges of cross-border ecosystem management between Washington State and British Columbia.

Meaningful Movies Bellevue is a team that offers a series of social justice documentaries on the fourth Tuesday of the month. All our films will be on zoom, “doors” open at 6:50, and the event starts at 7:00. These screenings are free to everyone at East Shore members and anyone from the community as well.

Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
