Visit to Seattle Asian Art Museum

Women’s Perspective invites you to enjoy a visit to the Seattle Asian Art Museum, led by Leslie Collins. The Seattle Asian Art Museum is located at Volunteer Park in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood and exhibits historic and contemporary artwork from China, Korea, Japan, India, the Himalayas, and other countries. The visit will last 1.5 to 2 hours.
How to Attend
This visit will be held on a “First Thursday” so entry will be free. The Seattle Asian Art Museum is located at 1400 E Prospect St, Seattle, WA. Parking is free, carpools are encouraged. Afterwards, those who are so inclined can visit the nearby Volunteer Park Conservatory and/or grab lunch together at Taurus Ox, a nearby Laotian restaurant (15-minute walk or 3 minutes by car).

Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
