Students, join us for impactful weekly gatherings, fun experiences, and life-changing adventures for both high school ages. Youth group meets in person at the church. We trade off between games, snacks, and community service here at East Shore and adventures out in the community. Students and advisors work together to plan and carry out a wide variety of activities, worships, discussions, community service, and social justice projects throughout the year. Youth can not only relate to, but help lead, in our programs! Kids are welcome to join for some or all events. We greet and welcome students of all, any, or no faith background who seek an inclusive and supportive environment for their adolescent years.
High school youth are invited to attend worship with their families. There are also opportunities to engage in serving with the elementary age kids, helping in the kitchen, the grounds, participating in worship leadership, or advancing social justice passions.
Register online or in the classroom. Youth Group is open for students ages 14-18, as well as middle school ages 13 that are not registered in Our Whole Lives class. We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
