YRUU High School Youth are becoming…. who they want to be in the world.
YRUU creates a place for high school students to meet, engage with their values, and contribute to the ESUC vision and mission. High school-age UUs put our faith into action every day by daring to be real, showing acceptance and support, leading with courage, and acting for justice.
Following Coming of Age, our children are typically members of ESUC. Some families and youth visit ESUC to explore a faith community. At this time in their lives, youth have the need to form community, explore their values, and deepen their engagement.
YRUU advances the inclusion of youth, while exploring various aspects of theology and taking action to serve in justice activities. YRUU primarily meets weekly as a small group and youth and advisors work together to plan and carry out a wide variety of activities, worships, discussions, community service, and social justice projects throughout the year. . There are scheduled overnights, conventions, and social events shared and attended among the youth.

We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
