Holly House Vote & Town Halls

The vote for members to decide how the Holly House property is sold to be held on (most likely) March 24! Not only is your vote important, but per our bylaws any major financial decision requires a 25% quorum of members present, which is 106 eligible members. We need you there if you can possibly make it! Unfortunately, we cannot allow absentee or proxy votes without a bylaw change, which also requires a 2/3 vote in a congregational meeting.

The Holly House Task Force will be holding a series of town halls to provide information and answer questions about the bids and the voting process. There will also be an opportunity to gather in small groups and express your thoughts about the upcoming choice we will be making together.

The small groups, or listening circles, are a space for all to express themselves and know that everyone in the group will hear you and affirm you were heard. They are not intended to be a back and forth dialogue, but a forum to listen and hear each other. There will be facilitators present to guide the process.

You may attend any of the town halls. Participation is the listening circles is not required.
