Babies & Preschool
East Shore loves babies! Young babies are invited to the Sanctuary with their families; we understand the importance of the beginning of life. There are other options if you want to move around or enjoy more privacy. The balcony of the Sanctuary is a great place to move around and still enjoy a worshipful experience. The worship service is broadcast in the North Room Fellowship Hall, just on the other side of the Sanctuary, as well as just outside of the Sanctuary in the foyer. We also have comfortable nursing chairs in the Administrative offices, where you can listen to the service, too. Babies and parents are also welcome in the Preschool Room of the Education building, where there is staff and other children. Baby changing tables are available in all of our bathrooms. Please ask our staff, or any usher and greeter who will be happy to show you around to these different options and help make your time here at East Shore enjoyable.
The preschool room is located on the ground floor of our Education building. Children from ages 18 months through 5 years are welcome to play and learn with our Lead Preschool Teacher, LeAnne Struble and Assistant Teacher, Mollie Player. Through free play and stories, children will learn about Unitarian Universalists’ values including sharing, respecting each other, and taking care of the earth.
