This year, the Mission Fund Drive will begin on March 1. This is time to renew your pledges to East Shore to support our mission for 2020-2021. Please give generously, and from your hearts. It’s best to think of what East Shore means to you, and what that means financially. The goal this year is $625,000, which is up about $30,000 from what we brought in last year. That’s about a 5% increase.
While some may give from their hearts, we know others give based on the numbers. Which is tricky, because our budget is based on what you give, and you want to give based on the budget! That’s a classic chicken/egg problem. Nevertheless, here are some numbers for you to consider:
- Total budgeted expenses for current (2019-2020) fiscal year = $1,297,464.03.
- Costs per day to run ESUC and all our amazing programming = $3,554.70 per day.

Please return your pledge cards by March 29 and join us for the Celebrate ESUC Brunch in Spring Hall all morning. This year we are having food provided by students from Renton Technical College.
