Share the Plate: Sophia Way

Aug 28, 2024 | Beacon, Justice, News

The Sophia Way, now offering services in both Kirkland and Bellevue, opened its doors in 2008 to serve women experiencing homelessness. Since then, more than 5,000 women have been sheltered and supported by The Sophia Way. Under the umbrella of our Women’s Perspective and Women-Helping-Women ministry teams, East Shore has been supporting The Sophia Way for the past 14 years. Please consider joining our September 15 Share the Plate program by donating during the service or online with a designation that it is in support of Sophia Way/Share the Plate.

There will be a basket on our Foyer table to collect food donations for Sophia Way. They are requesting Breakfast Items:

  • Apple sauce (individual cups)
  • Boxes of cereals
  • Carnation Breakfast Essentials High Protein Powder Drink Mix
  • Coffee
  • Dried fruit
  • Granola bars
  • Instant oatmeal (individual packets)
  • Nuts
  • Tea bags
  • Trail mix
