The Second Sunday Team was heartened to have received 18 suggestions from the congregation for recipients during 2020! Thanks to everyone for the thoughtfulness that went into these suggestions. Only one, Planned Parenthood, had multiple (3) suggestions; and since March will have a women’s theme, we selected Planned Parenthood for March.
The Team considered a number of ways to process and use the suggestions. After lengthy discussion, the Team decided to consult and use the suggestions as we go through the rest of the year and cover the topics/themes that we identified in the past: basic needs, education, environment, health and welfare, human rights, and neighborhood/community.
