Have you got a great idea for a worship service?
Do you know someone who would give a wonderful sermon?
Are you interested in helping to plan the services over the summer, while Rev. Steve takes a well-earned break?
The Worship Committee are responsible for planning services from June 21 – Aug 30 this year, and we need your help! Maybe you have a sermon in your head just bursting to come out, or just some ideas of topics you’d like to hear more about. Maybe you’d like to give a sermon yourself, or you’d just like to ensure that we have a good line up of interesting topics. The Worship Committee wants to hear your ideas, via email or in person. While Rev. Steve reserves the power of the pulpit, which means the right to turn down speakers or sermon topics that he doesn’t think will work, at this stage we are brainstorming ideas. Our next meeting is on Thursday, February 6th, 5:00 p.m. in the South Room, so come share your ideas and help us plan a great line up for the summer.
