East Shore Unitarian Church 12700 SE 32nd Street, Bellevue, WA, United States

Costumes, accessories, and Halloweenies, of all sizes – from infant to adult – are accepted. Items should be clean and in good wearable condition! Please bring your own reusable bag! The event is fun and easy – it’s not an exchange program where you must bring in a costume to get one, so all are welcome. Be sure to join us again in costume for our special Trunk or Treat Festival on October 27!

Family & Kid Orientation

East Shore Unitarian Church 12700 SE 32nd Street, Bellevue, WA, United States

Start growing your village at East Shore Unitarian Church! Join us for our New Families Gathering—an opportunity for families with children to get connected within the church community, whether you’re brand new to the church or have been attending for a while. This is an engaging and informative session designed to introduce families to the vibrant children’s programming at ESUC. Meet fellow families, get to know our dedicated staff, and volunteers, and learn about our ministries for children, youth, and families, our curriculum and activities, and explore how we foster spiritual growth, community, and inclusivity for children of all ages. We’ll provide an overview of our safety protocols and answer any questions you may have. This orientation is a great opportunity for families to connect, understand our mission, and see firsthand how we support your child’s journey in faith and personal development. We look forward to welcoming you and your family! Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided. Join the “Parents of East Shore Unitarian” Group in Realm and stay connected. Trunk or Treat

East Shore Unitarian Church 12700 SE 32nd Street, Bellevue, WA, United States

Come to church in your costume (or change after service), decorate your trunk as creatively or minimally as you want, and pass out candy to our young people and the young at heart. You have a chance to get as creative and fabulous as you want this Sunday after service at the annual multi-generational Trunk or Treat event. We will also have hot apple cider, popcorn, a photo booth, scavenger hunt, and a haunted trail.

Winter Youth Con

East Shore Unitarian Church 12700 SE 32nd Street, Bellevue, WA, United States

Youth cons are weekend-long gatherings of UU youth from many churches in the area. During a con, you’ll meet new people, play games, be silly, have good food, learn new things from each other in workshops, maybe participate in a talent (or no-talent) show, worships where you can connect on a deeper level with your new friends, often stay up super late (though you don’t have to), and generally create a temporary “UUtopian” society.
