The Earth & Climate Action Ministry team (ECAM) invites you to join in a discussion of the 2019 documentary film Ancestral Waters on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:00 pm. We encourage people to watch this film (81 minutes long) via Native Daily Network between now and September 30.
For those of you who prefer, members of ECAM will show the film starting at 5:30 pm just before the discussion which begins at 7:00 pm.
Speakers from 350.org will give a short presentation on the impact and significance of the Liquefied Natural Gas project in Tacoma. We will then have a facilitated discussion around Puget Sound Energy’s plans and influence, tribal rights and environmental racism. If you want to learn more about what this project means for the Puget Sound region, come join us!
