A Month of Reflection & New Beginnings

Join members of the Lay Pastoral Ministry Team and Rev. María Cristina as we explore inspirational stories and insights for aging with joy and purpose. Guided by the books From Age-ing to Sage-ing by Reb Zalman, and The Gift of Aging by Houle & Eckstrom, together we will explore how shifting our perspective on aging can reveal a spectrum of rich experiences and invaluable insights. We’ll reflect on how we can harness the power of a positive mindset to cultivate resilience, mental well-being, and a deeper sense of life satisfaction and purpose. Join us as we share practical strategies to enrich our journey, such as engaging in lifelong learning, building intergenerational connections, practicing gratitude, and seeking narratives that celebrate the beauty and depth of age.

Transportation & Parking
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
