Little Uu’s Nursery – ages 1-5 – focus on the early stories, songs, and spiritual practices of Unitarian Universalism, a loving faith tradition. Our preschool is very hands-on, play-based, and experiential because that’s how children learn best. Little Uu’s start in the Sanctuary for the beginning of worship, and then go to their class with RE Volunteers. Parents/caregivers pick up your Little Uu by 11:45am.
Register online or in the classroom. Parents/Caregivers can always stay in our classrooms to help with transitions or check out our programs more. Parents/caregivers are expected to stay onsite during programs. Because our programs are typically one hour, children are not required to be potty trained to attend, but the parent – and not volunteers – are responsible for diaper changes.
Parent/caregiver volunteering is an important aspect of faith development, so please join us in contributing your time and talents to grow our community. Our programs are paid for through financial donations to our organization. Consider donating generously in whatever amount you are able. We look forward to working with your families!
We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
