Chalice Players

Do you like to act, sing, dance?  How about artwork, set design, costume creation?  Or working with adults and children to put on theatrical performances? Perhaps writing is your talent and you want to write a play for adults and/or children.  Many of our plays are written by East Shore members, with music composed by members as well.

Earth Based Celebrations

The Earth-Based Ministry Team develops and presents celebrations around the Equinox and Solstice each year. If you are interested in learning more about this group, contact the church office.

East Shore Gallery

East Shore Gallery, founded in 1967, is one of the oldest galleries on the Eastside. The Gallery provides a venue for Northwest artists, and arts exposure and enjoyment for the community. Entirely volunteer-run, the Gallery mounts several themed shows each year, plus an annual holiday show. Volunteers curate each show, carefully selecting artists whose work fits with the theme. Shows include art across a variety of media—paintings, prints, ceramics, fiber art, sculpture, baskets, wood, and a wide array of jewelry. More information can be found here.

East Shore LIVE

East Shore Unitarian Church has a vibrant community of artists, performers, scholars and enthusiasts. We are offering the East Shore LIVE performance gallery to share our artistic passions and perspectives with the broader community, and to empower many Eastside and Seattle artists to share their work in a unique format that is:

  • Intimate – LIVE events focus on getting up close with artists & performers
  • Interdisciplinary – multiple art forms and presentation formats co-featured
  • Interactive – audience participation segments feature artist Q & A and discussion
  • Informal – relaxed, club-like atmosphere with food & drink served

All performances take place in Spring Hall on the East Shore campus, and is open to all ages. Learn more here.
