Womens’ Perspective

Mission

East Shore Women’s Perspective encourages all women to join together for mutual support, personal growth, and spiritual enrichment and to use their combined vision and strength to promote human dignity, environmental balance, and world peace.

History

The East Shore Women’s Perspective was founded in 1989.  We are a ministry team of the East Shore Unitarian Church.  All our monthly programs have a topical focus and also include fun activities to help us get to know each other better and strengthen our connections in community. Each year we hold a full weekend retreat at Rainbow Lodge in North Bend.
Our bulletin board display in the North Room has information about our upcoming events and ongoing projects. Programs are held in the North Room or Spring Hall at East Shore unless otherwise noted.  Guests are always welcome.  Contact the Chair with any questions.

Membership

Our $15 dues pay for the cost of our speakers and programs, and other local projects. Please come and attend as our guest, while you see if you want to join. Our annual retreat is offered to members at additional charge. Some financial assistance is available. Contact the Chair or Treasurer/Secretary for more info or to be put on our email list to receive notices of events.

Community Outreach

Women Helping Women is the social justice arm of Women’s Perspective, and offers members opportunities to help other women in our own community and worldwide. These include support for local homeless women by donating supplies and making monthly meals for The Sophia Way Shelter, as well as other ongoing and one-time projects.
