For many of us, the Holiday season is filled with wonder, a spirit of generosity, and joyful anticipation of gathering with friends and family. And for many of us the Holidays can also be filled with sadness, stress, anxiety, and/or “the blues”, especially if you are grieving the recent loss of a loved one, or suffering being estranged from family, dealing with difficult health issues, or feeling disconnected and lonely.
Perhaps the very pressure of having to make holiday preparations is making you feel overwhelmed. For people who are grieving and who are suffering, this forced joyfulness during the Holidays can be painful. Many of us just need a break, a contemplative space where we can slow down, connect with our community, accept where we are, and honor our emotional needs.
Whatever the reason for feeling blue or overwhelmed, we invite you to join us in creating a peaceful spiritual oasis in person or via Zoom.
Wear your favorite ugly Xmas sweater to church or your comfy PJ’s at home, as we offer ourselves the gift of self-compassion. We’ll create an informal and cozy atmosphere where we can share inspirational readings, sing together, and share joys & sorrows. Everyone is welcome!
We encourage masks in all buildings. Read more about our In Person Guidelines here.
To virtually attend, please Zoom in using room number 830 9411 4312
Passcode: XMAS
For those joining, please mute as soon as you enter the room, so everyone can hear. Please note, the services will be recorded, but at this time, there are no plans to share the recording.

We have several parking lots. Our upper lot, off SE 32nd Street, is closest to our Sanctuary, it has handicap and stroller parking. There is a roundabout for drop-offs. Our lower, main parking lot is also off SE 32nd Street. There are stairs that will lead you up to the Sanctuary. If that lot is full, there is also street parking on 32nd Street.
