Crafting a Ritual of Joy

In a world filled with busyness and distractions, it is all too easy to overlook the importance of intentional celebration and the nourishment it brings to our spirits. Let us gather to explore the power of creating rituals of joy in our lives.
JeKaren Olaoya (she/her) is a life-long UU, poet, writer, mixed-media artist, certified Death and Grief Doula, and graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry in the MDiv Chaplaincy program. She currently serves on the UUA Board of Trustees. As an earth-based African spiritualities practitioner with foundation in Christianity, she draws from the guidance of her ancestors for spiritual care. She lives in Macon, Georgia with her dog, Maysee Moon on the land of the Mvskoke and Hitchiti people.

Religious Education for children and youth happens during worship on Sundays. All ages children and youth join in for a fun, interactive, stand-alone UU lesson. 2 adult volunteers per week are needed. Questions? Contact LeAnne.
