Please join us for gardening activities on the East Shore grounds. We will be weeding and pulling ivy, pruning shrubs, and mulching with wood chips north of North Room, reworking the strawberry raised bed, relocating 2 small blueberry bushes, and removing moss from patio pavers, among other projects. Adults and youth (accompanied by an adult) are welcome to help out. If you would like, bring a sack lunch and come to our lunch at noon in the North Room when we can chat and discuss upcoming projects. Come for any amount of time to help out.
All those who identify as women are welcomed to join with new and old friends at a Women's Perspective walk to the Issaquah Troll and lunch together in the Issaquah Commons afterwards!
Child dedications are an opportunity for East Shore's U.U. family community to gather together in blessing and ritual. Families of every shape and form participate in our service with words of wisdom and sharing. This year, we incorporate the Child Dedication as part of our International Women’s Day Service on March 10. Service will be followed by an Ice Cream social.

Every year, East Shore holds a special auction, focused on sharing our talents and time together, to help build community and raise some funds for the church. Part of East Shore’s mission is to build community. On Saturday March 16th, 5-8pm, there’s a wonderful opportunity to participate in the auction and socialize with members and friends of East Shore.

The Earth and Climate Action Ministry is compiling input from all over our church communities on how we at East Shore can make an impact on our world in new, coordinated and powerful ways. We'll be having a general feedback sharing session after church on March 17. We want to hear from you, so it will be an interactive discussion. No presentations, just sharing common passions and purpose to heal the Earth

A monthly gathering to connect and discuss topics related to aging, such as: Considering retirement, aging while caring for teens and/or elderly parents, the importance of having your medical directives and other legal documents in order, and the benefits and joys of belonging to a vibrant community, to name just a few.
If you have beloved hand-crafted textiles you would be willing to share with fellow East Shore members, please bring them to East Shore on or before March 24th. After the Sunday morning church service on March 24th, from noon to around 1:30/2:00, we will gather to share our textiles and their stories in Spring Hall.
