OWL empowers adults and children across the lifespan to learn about their bodies, sexuality, and genders. I am looking for 15 adults to get trained in OWL to facilitate next year's programs. There are new editions of K-2 curricula and 10-12 curricula, so even if you've trained before, it's time to re-engage. Congregants not signing up for the training are invited to host a meal at the church or to host a participant from the program with a home stay.

Like the other Our Whole Lives programs for different age groups, this comprehensive, developmentally appropriate program introduces key topics like values, body image, gender and sexual identity, peer pressure, and healthy relationships with sensitivity and inclusiveness, yet without specifically religious doctrine or reference. There is a mandatory parent/child orientation.
