YES-UU Jr. High Youth are…exploring their spirituality and community!
Junior high youth ages 12-14 are invited to join the Youth Exploring Spirituality Youth Group! Youth programs include a variety of curricula to develop a great sense of self and connect with your values in service to yourself and the greater good. Jr. High youth typically participate in Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education and Coming of Age youth development programs. Following Coming of Age, youth are encouraged to become members of ESUC.

YUUP High School Youth are…becoming who they want to be in the world!
Young Unitarian Universalist Project is a safe and encouraging place for high school students to meet, engage with their values, and contribute to the ESUC vision and mission of an awesome and inclusive community. At this time in their lives, youth have the need to form community, explore their values, and deepen their engagement. YUUP rotates programming between games, snacks, field trips and youth conferences in the region. We encourage and support youth to lead, plan, and invite their friends to join!

RE Community Service with Camp Kindness Counts

Please come and practice GENEROSITY with us this December as we give to community members experiencing homelessness. We will make as many snack packs as we can with the donations received. Our community service will end with a reflection. During this time we will reflect as a group and share the service we did, how we felt, and how we can continue building on our character and be of service to others!

Cookies & Carols

After the service on December 3, we will be putting up and decorating the sanctuary Christmas tree and singing carols from noon to about 1:00 pm. Bring your favorite cookies to share (homemade or store-bought) for this new version of Cookies and Carols and Ornaments! Coffee and tea will be available.

And it’s about the ways this is how it always is: Change is always hard and miraculous and hard again, parenting is always a leap into the unknown with crossed fingers and full hearts, children grow but not always according to plan. And families with secrets don’t get to keep them forever.

Kids’ Night In

Grown-ups of children ages 1 year old through high school are invited to drop their youngsters off for an evening of creative fun while they enjoy some well-deserved time off. A pizza dinner will be provided. Sliding scale tickets help to make sure our dinner costs are covered. Programming for kids of all ages will include free-play, age-appropriate activities, and a movie night.
