Join us for the fall kick off and RE Volunteer Training. At this volunteer training, you’ll meet with staff, the RE Kids Team, and your co-facilitators that you'll be working with over the next year. We will discuss faith development and mentorship, safety in our congregations, neurodiversity and community building, expectations and scheduling, and take a curriculum deep dive. And of course, we'll have a light brunch, coffee, and time to mingle. We don't want you to miss it, so put it on your calendar today!
Saturdays just got better! Join us for an exciting hike along the Harvey Manning Trail in Bellevue. This family-friendly adventure promises stunning views and a memorable experience for all ages. Come with your loved ones and enjoy the beauty of nature. Don't forget to bring a picnic to savor at the trail's end!
Costumes, accessories, and Halloweenies, of all sizes - from infant to adult - are accepted. Items should be clean and in good wearable condition!
Please bring your own reusable bag! The event is fun and easy - it's not an exchange program where you must bring in a costume to get one, so all are welcome.
Volunteer and staff advisors working with youth ages 12+ have the opportunity to attend our annual youth advisor training on Saturday October 28th, 10am-4pm at East Shore in Bellevue, WA.
This one day in person training, lasting 6 hours, will also connect congregations to ongoing support and access to youth advisor resources. Registration coming soon. Fees for the training will be covered by the congregation and lunch is included. Join us in the sanctuary for a multi generational Dia de los Muertos celebration and then after join us in the upper parking lot for games and a trunk or treat. Please feel free to come in costume that day.

We'll explore the trail's lush greenery and reach the majestic waterfall. It's a perfect outing for families and nature enthusiasts. Remember to pack your camera to capture the breathtaking scenery!
After the service on December 3, we will be putting up and decorating the sanctuary Christmas tree and singing carols from noon to about 1:00 pm. Bring your favorite cookies to share (homemade or store-bought) for this new version of Cookies and Carols and Ornaments! Coffee and tea will be available.

Child dedications are an opportunity for East Shore's U.U. family community to gather together in blessing and ritual. Families of every shape and form participate in our service with words of wisdom and sharing. This year, we incorporate the Child Dedication as part of our International Women’s Day Service on March 10. Service will be followed by an Ice Cream social.
