Farewell from Joseph Newman

Mar 1, 2022 | Beacon, News

Dear East Shore Members,

My name is Joseph and I have been your Caretaker, then Sexton, then IT Support Coordinator, for nearly five years now. Some members know this already, but I have been looking for a new job in the tech industry for the majority of last year. I can finally announce I accepted an offer at a tech company, as a Software Engineer. I share this with both unbelievable excitement but also some melancholy. East Shore has been my home for these, almost, five years, and my colleagues and co-workers have been friends and a second family.

I also wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for providing a space as beautiful as East Shore’s campus to exist and allowing me the opportunity to help fulfill its mission as a faith community. My last day as ESUC’s IT Support Coordinator will be Sunday, February 27th.

Thank you and I wish for only the best to come to you and your church.
