General Assembly 2022

May 2, 2022 | Beacon, News

June 22-26

General Assembly is the annual gathering of Unitarian Universalists, where we conduct business of the Association, explore the theological underpinnings of our faith, and lean fully into our mission and principles. Please join us  June 22-26 in Portland, Oregon and online for this 5-day immersive experience where we participate in inspirational worship services and informative workshops, reconvene with friends and colleagues, and explore our bustling exhibit hall. You’ll leave with renewed energy and innovative ideas to share with your congregation and community-at-large! You can learn more and register at uua.org/ga.

Be a Delegate

East Shore has seven delegate spots with representatives voted on by the Board. These delegates vote at the business meetings and help make lasting changes for the whole of the UUA!

  • Familiarize yourself with the business items on the Agenda. Discuss agenda items with your congregation.
  • Learn how to effectively speak in General Session by reviewing the General Session Participation Guide.
  • Join the UUA Board of Trustees’ webinar about What to Expect at General Assembly, offered several times in June.

If you are interested in being a delegate, contact Nicole.
