Programming for our youngest community members focuses on fostering a sense of connection and safety. We encourage curiosity, play, and wonder while introducing the beloved stories, songs, and rituals of the Unitarian Universalist faith. Our nursery is open before services.

Impermanence is difficult for the mind to grasp and the heart to accept. Come join us as we co-create an earth mandala together. May this nature-based community art form guide us in the spiritual practice of letting go with more grace.
-
Programming for middle school youth ages 12-14 includes engaging youth in discussions on ethics, justice, and spirituality, and providing opportunities for leadership and community service. A key component is the Coming-of-Age program, where teens explore their beliefs, participate in mentorship, and create personal faith statements. |

Join Amanda, LeAnne, and RE volunteer leaders for a service grounded in gratitude with our treasured rite-of-passage transition rituals for our children and youth. From the youngest who are ready to shift from the nursery to RE classes through those finishing High School and entering young adulthood with the Bridging of youth. It is also an opportunity to affirm the covenants we hold with our children and youth and the role of the congregation and faith community in their development.

Come join Religious Education and Facilities staff for fun and work in our Education building. We'll provide food and good cheer as we all work together to show our care for this place. Some of you may know that we have signed a lease agreement with a preschool program. This means that we need to relocate items in the Education building into areas where there will not be construction or that are undergoing permanent changes. |

Join us as we discuss The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club, by Helen Simonson. This book explores the frustrations experienced by women who were gainfully (and happily) employed during wartime, only to be told that their services are no longer needed and that they should return their focus to marriage and child-bearing. Set in England in the year following the end of World War I. Constance comes to the seaside town as companion to a frail elderly woman. She is greeted warmly by a vivacious young woman from a wealthy family. This young woman wears trousers, operates a taxi and delivery service to employ local women, and manages a ladies' motorcycle club. She and her friends welcome Constance into their circle, despite the differences in their stations. |
