It is a 20 acre urban gem, located in a residential neighborhood, not too far from the Rainier Beach Light Rail station. Right now there aren't too many flowers, but you can really see the beautiful branching of the maple trees and so many shades of green. It is not too busy this time of year, especially during the week days. There is no charge for parking or entrance. Check it out!

Women’s Perspective Retreat: Transforming Conflict through Love in Action

Rainbow Lodge 46820 SE Mt Si Rd, North Bend, WA, United States

Do you get exasperated when someone makes a statement you cannot abide, one that offends your personal values? What do you do? Counter statement? Argue? Remain silent but resolve to end your relationship because your values are too vast to bridge?

In today’s world, differences in belief and values are common. Because these conflicts merit tough discussions if we are to co-exist in harmony, how we listen to others’ viewpoints and then take thoughtful actions can often neutralize a combative situation.

During our retreat, we will explore our personal responses to conflict; we will learn how to hear others without judgment, express our ideas clearly, and practice new responsive skills that retain our integrity and respect. All of this is in a fun, supportive, interactive environment!
