East Shore Ruins… Christmas

As UUs, we all celebrate (or don’t celebrate) Christmas differently. Adam will show us how the idea of “Christ” in Christmas has a very different past. Using clips from “Adam Ruins Christmas” and a discussion of how we celebrate and ways to make the holiday a bit more UU (with tips from the amazing pageant Walter Andrews wrote). Special guest, LeAnne Struble. This is also a light way to introduce you all to this great series.

Winter Holidays Pageant

We’re pleased to present to you all a fun-filled morning reflecting on the various wisdom traditions who celebrate year after year since time immemorial during the dark of the year. This more traditional service will be held on Zoom with music from Eric Lane Barnes, stories for children of all ages from Amanda Uluhan, and a Christmas sermon from Rev. Stephen Furrer.
